--Los angeles The Grammy Awards ceremony on 10 February will go ahead as normal after the striking writers' guild agreed to allow members to work on the show. The Writers Guild of America said the decision had been made to support union musicians and advance writers' campaign for a fair contract. But the guild has declined a waiver for the Academy Awards, raising doubts about the Oscars on 24 February.
