Oprah Book Club to Read 'A New Earth'

The non-fiction, spiritual book is about what people can do to make the world a better place.

Being able to share this material with you is a gift and a part of the fulfillment of my life's purpose, Winfrey said Wednesday, as she revealed the 61st Oprah's Book Club selection. It was an awakening for me that I want for you, too.

Harpo Productions Inc. said that, for the first time, readers around the world will be able to participate in a free, live interactive classroom discussion about the book, led by Winfrey and Tolle.

Each class will correspond to a chapter from A New Earth, with the discussion focusing on the chapter's themes.

The 10 weekly sessions will be Web-cast Mondays at 9 p.m. EST from March 3 through May 5.
