A MEMORIAL service for Heath Ledger is being planned in Los Angeles.

The actor's funeral will take place in his native Perth but Hollywood stars will have a chance to say a final farewell in California.

Among those closest to Ledger were his Brokeback Mountain co- star Jake Gyllenhall and actress twins Mary-Kate, left, and Ashley Olsen.

Mary-Kate,21, and Ledger were said to have been dating for the last few months.

It emerged on Thursday that masseuse Diana Wolozin, who found Ledger's body in his Manhattan apartment, called Mary-Kate, left, three times before she called an ambulance.

Olsen sent a team of private bodyguards, rather than calling the authorities.
