Man 'Killed Lover and Cooked Her'

A MAN killed his girlfriend and cooked parts of her body, it was alleged yesterday.

Christopher Lee McCuin called police on Saturday to tell them what he was doing after Jana Shearer, 21, died.

The 25-year-old, from Tyler, 110 miles east of Dallas, Texas, said he was boiling her body parts at his mother's home, local sheriff J.B. Smith said.

When officers arrived at the house, they found Miss Shearer's mutilated body, as well as one of her ears in a pot of water on the stove.

A fork was sticking out of some human flesh on the table but it was not clear if McCuin had eaten any, Mr Smith said.

Police believe that Miss Shearer was abducted from her home on Friday night and killed.

She may have then been taken to McCuin's mother's house in the boot of his truck.

Her mutilation was apparently the beginning of a crime spree that included McCuin allegedly stabbing the boyfriend of his estranged wife. The victim is still in hospital.

McCuin has been charged with Miss Shearer's murder.
