Slain Girlfriend Taken to Beau's Mother

The Texas man who allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend and then took the body to his mother's garage is in jail.

Christopher Lee McCuin allegedly asked his mother and her boyfriend to go to their garage Saturday morning, and when they got there they found the body of his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend Jana Shearer, of Tyler, Texas, police said, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reported.

The couple flagged down police, who said McCuin barricaded himself in the garage, the newspaper said. Eventually, police persuaded the man to come out, then arrested him.

McCuin kicked out the back window of the patrol car but was restrained and he was jailed awaiting trial on murder charges.

Authorities didn't give details about the condition of Shearer's body, but indicated her slaying took some time and was brutal, the Morning Telegraph said. There was also evidence of some really weird stuff, police said. Slain Girlfriend Taken to Beau's Mother
