Nintendo to Keep Wii Price Unchaged: President

Current Headlines: Tokyo, Oct. 26 (Jiji Press)--Nintendo Co. President Satoru Iwata said Friday that the company has no intention of lowering the retail price of its Wii video game console.

On moves by competitors, including Sony Computer Entertainment Inc., to launch new game machines and cut prices, the president said these will not affect sales of the Wii console in the United States and Europe.

The president also revealed plans to enable users to view TV program listings on Wii consoles connected to the Internet.END
