ORLANDO IN CRASH HORROR ; Friend Injured As Star Hits Parked Car in Hollywood

MOVIE heart-throb Orlando Bloom has escaped injury after a car smash in Hollywood.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star crashed a Toyota car into a parked Porsche in the early hours of yesterday.

Two women who we re travelling with the actor were hurt in the accident, one of them seriously.

Police said there was no suggestion that 30-year-old Bloom was speeding or that he been drinking or taking drugs.

Witnesses told police that a car cut in front of the star's vehicle causing him to swerve and hit the parked 4x4.

There were reports that the actor's car was being chased by paparazzi photographers at the time of the crash.

The accident happened just minutes after Bloom had left Los Angeles nightclub Green Door.

There were claims that the Lord Of The Rings star had been involved in a row in the club's car park shortly before the prang. Bloom was driving a black Toyota, believed to belong to a friend, when he hit the parked Porsche Cayenne at about 2.30am,causing minor damage to both vehicles.

One of the women hurt was identified as celebrity stylist Cher Coulter.

The 35-year-old, who has worked with stars including Brad Pitt and Nicole Kidman, is believed to have suffered a broken neck and cuts.

The other female passenger, who has not been identified but is said to be in her 30s, suffered cuts.

Bloom stayed at the scene of the crash and attempted to give first aid to the injured women. All three were later taken to hospital by ambulance.

LAPD officer April Harding said: "Police interviewed Bloom at the scene and at the hospital and determined that he did not display signs or symptoms of intoxication.

"No field sobriety test was issued." She added: "Bloom believed he was being followed by the paparazzi.

"He believed the car that cut him off was driven by a photographer."

Police also confirmed Bloom would not be arrested or charged.

Earlier, witnesses claimed to have seen hoodie-wearing Bloom arguing with a couple in Green Door's car park.
