NanoString Technologies(R) Strengthens Senior Commercial Team in Preparation for Commercial Launch W

Current Headlines: NanoString Technologies, Inc. announced today the addition of Lianne McLean to its management team in preparation for the commercial launch of the nCounter Analysis System.

"Lianne has a wealth of experience and proven track record in marketing leading edge technologies to the life science research and molecular diagnostic markets," said Perry Fell, Ph.D., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NanoString. "Her addition to the NanoString team will be an important step as we move towards full commercialization of our enabling technology."

Lianne joins NanoString from Applied Biosystems where she served as Director of Global Strategic Marketing in the Molecular Cell Biology Division focusing on real-time PCR systems and assays for gene expression and genotyping. Prior to that, she spent 6 years at Affymetrix where she played a key role in bringing whole genome expression arrays to market, building a supporting reagents business, and developing the custom and model organism array program. Lianne also spent 5 years at Roche Molecular Diagnostics and Chiron Diagnostics marketing IVD tests for infectious diseases.
