Trucks on Fire in California Tunnel

Current Headlines: Five large trucks burned inside a Los Angeles County tunnel amid a half-mile of wreckage Saturday on the rain-slick Golden State Freeway.

The pile-up occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Friday and burned through the night in the truck-only tunnel on Interstate 5 in Santa Clarita, reported KTTV, Los Angeles. As many as 15 trucks were in the tunnel.

All trucks lanes were closed indefinitely as firefighters doused flames and smoke and rescuers attempted to reach injured people, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported Saturday.
