--LOS ANGELES The actress America Ferrera, who stars in the cult US television show Ugly Betty, was named the Hispanic woman of the year by The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard magazines. "She is a leader for all women, but especially those in the Hispanic community," said publisher John Kilcullen. Ferrera, 23, has won a Golden Globe, Emmy and Screen Actors Guild award for her portrayal of fashion worker Betty Suarez.
