Mitvol to Explain Specifics of Russian Law to Potential U.S. Investors

Current Headlines: MOSCOW. Aug 29 (Interfax-AVN) - A delegation of the Russian Natural Resources' Ministry on September 4-7 will hold talks in the United Nations with several public companies and funds interested in the Russian natural resources' sector.

A ministry statement lists Oleg Mitvol, deputy head of Rosprirodnadzor natural resources watchdog, and Igor Maidanov, head of the ministry international cooperation department as members of the delegation.

The delegation is traveling at the invitation of Capital Research, American Century, Fidelity, UBS, State Street, Wells Capital and Victoria Asset management companies.

In the United States, ministry officials will inform business representatives about the specifics of Russian legislation regarding natural resources and brief them on the findings of oversight bodies.
