Va. Tech Killer May Have Rehearsed

Current Headlines: The Virginia Tech student who killed 32 people in a dorm and classroom building may have rehearsed the massacre, investigators said Friday.

Wendell Flinchum, chief of campus police at the university in Roanoke, said that one witnesses described a hooded figure they saw just outside Norris Hall on Saturday, April 14, two days before the massacre, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported. Another witness saw chains on a door in Norris Hall that day.

Seung-hui Cho shot two people in a dorm and then, after a break, went on a rampage through Norris, killing 30 and wounding many others before taking his own life. Doors in the building were chained shut to prevent students and teachers from escaping.

State Police Superintendent W. Steven Flaherty said that investigators have now proved that Cho killed Emily Hilscher and Ryan Clark. He said that blood found on Cho's clothing has been identified as Clark's.
