Rosie O'Donnell Withdraws As 'Price' Host

Current Headlines: Rosie O'Donnell announced that despite a nice lunch with producers, she won't take over as host of The Price is Right in Los Angeles.

O'Donnell posted the news in a video she posted on her Web site in response to a fan's e-mail saying a lot of people move their families for a new job, People magazine reported Monday.

The Price is Right is taped in Los Angeles. O'Donnell and her family live near New York City.

Here's the thing, O'Donnell said in the Web site posting. "I don't really need a job. I'm in a weird position. I don't need the money.

I know you're not allowed to talk about money in America but I'm just saying I don't. So to get my entire family uprooted from their lives and move them across the country so that I can have a fantasy childhood indulgence job just doesn't seem fair.
