Tom Sizemore Begs Judge for Leniency

Jun 20, 02:10 PM

Current Headlines: Actor Tom Sizemore wept and begged a Los Angeles County judge not to send him to jail, after he admitted violating his probation in a drug case.

Sizemore was arrested in 2004 and put on probation after being convicted of possessing methamphetamines, TMZ.com reported Wednesday.

He was arrested again last month in Bakersfield, Calif., on suspicion of various drug charges, including methamphetamine possession.

Do you agree you are in violation of your probation? a judge asked the actor Tuesday.

Sizemore said he did.

Probation is a privilege, the judge said. Tom is not a matter of probation anymore because he has abused that privilege.

Sizemore wept and begged the judge: I don't want to go to jail ... give me one more chance ... I have a terrible disease ... drugs have strapped me around the neck ... I guarantee I am not going to be here again! I want to rehabilitate myself and become a good productive citizen to society.

The actor, who appeared in Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan, is scheduled to hear his fate June 25.
