Kristy Swanson Arrested in Canada

Current Headlines: Actress Kristy Swanson has been arrested in Kingston, Canada, for allegedly assaulting the ex-wife of her partner, world champion skater Lloyd Eisler.

Swanson and Eisler met as skating partners on the reality show Skating with Celebrities, prompting Eisler to leave his pregnant wife for the actress, People magazine reported Monday.

I had to go the police station where I had an appointment at 9 p.m. to begin the process of being arrested, Swanson told People.

Swanson was released on a $500 bail after being arrested because of a complaint Marcia O'Brien filed against her.

But, the actress claims that Eiser's ex, O'Brien, attacked her in front of Eisler and O'Brien's children. She also said she plans to press charges.
