Current Headlines: Google has complained to state and federal antitrust officials that Microsoft Windows Vista software hampers the use of rival desktop-search products, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday. Google, owner of the leading Internet search engine, alleges that the program violates Microsoft's antitrust settlement because the company makes it so difficult to use competing search bars, the paper said.

Google sent a report of about 50 pages to the Justice Department and state attorneys general in April after discussing the matter with government officials for more than a year, the Journal said.
