Current Headlines: PARTY girl Paris Hilton has told lawyers not to appeal the decision to send her back to jail.

She claims the experience is making her a stronger person.

But insiders say she is on medication for depression and has been put on suicide watch at the Twin Towers detention centre in Los Angeles.

She is back behind bars for a second time to serve the remainder of a 45-day sentence for violating probation by driving while banned.

Hilton, 26, spent just three days in LA's Lynwood detention centre before being freed on Thursday to serve the rest of her sentence at home.

A sheriff said she was suffering from a "medical condition" but 36 hours later, she was back in court where Judge Michael Sauer, who had originally sentenced her, sent her back to jail.

Yesterday, in a statement released by her lawyer, she said: "I told my attorneys not to appeal the judge's decision. I believe that I am learning and growing from this experience."

Hilton is being held in a room by herself and is said to be crying constantly and praying.

Reports claim she is not coping and that when she was first jailed, she refused food to avoid going to the toilet for fear of being filmed by a guard or inmate on a mobile phone.
