May 27--Zuckerberg is chief executive of Palo Alto social-networking site Facebook, which has chosen to go it alone as it competes with MySpace and other Internet giants. In a bid to bring even more traffic to the popular site, Zuckerberg said Facebook will open up the site to offerings from third-party developers. Analysts said the risky move might be just what Facebook needs to distinguish itself from its rivals.
