Patriots' Hill Body Recovered From Lake

Current Headlines: The body of New England Patriots defensive end Marquise Hill was pulled Monday from Lake Pontchartrain, La.

Hill had been the object of a lake search after a jet-ski accident Sunday night.

Hill's body was recovered in mid-afternoon, The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported.

Authorities had turned their search from a rescue to recovery mission after witnesses saw the former LSU star go underwater without resurfacing.

The Orleans Levee Board Police reported that a passing boat picked up the man but he jumped back in the water to look for the woman. The woman was eventually rescued.

Hill, a New Orleans native, has played with the Patriots since being drafted out of LSU in 2004. He was a member of LSU's national championship team in 2003.

He played in 13 games with the Patriots over the last three seasons.
