Smith Had Many Prescriptions Available

Current Headlines: More than 600 pills were missing from prescriptions written to Anna Nicole Smith, documents released by the Broward County, Fla., medical examiner showed.

While the report noted the pills were missing from the 11 prescriptions written, it wasn't clear whether Smith, who died Feb. 8, took all of them, the New York Post said Thursday. All prescriptions were written by one doctor.

The sleep aid chloral hydrate -- blamed for creating a toxic mix of drugs and causing an accidental drug overdose that lead to her death -- was prescribed Jan. 2, according to the records.

About two-thirds of the bottle were gone, according to the medical examiner's records, and 62 tablets of the drug Valium were missing from a prescription that was less than two weeks old when Smith died.
