True Love Split for Star Marie

SEVENTIES pop beauty Marie Osmond has filed for divorce to end her 20-year marriage.

The American singer, who had a string of hits including True Love with brother Donny, has had a volatile relationship with her second husband, record producer Brian Blosil.

Marie and Brian have eight children, five of whom are adopted. The couple, who live in Utah, wed in a Mormon ceremony in October 1986.

"Although our marriage is ending, we continue to have a very amicable relationship," the couple said. They would not discuss why they were splitting and asked for privacy.

Marie, 47, who has been treated for depression in the past, is now a successful businesswoman, with a bestselling line of dolls on shopping channel QVC.
