Current Headlines: AN outraged man wants to stop paying his ex-wife support - after she became a man.

Lawrence Roach, 48, agreed to pay his wife of 18 years Julia pounds 640 a month during their bitter divorce in 2004.

But since then, Julia, 55, has had a sex change and changed her name to Julio Roberto Silverwolf.

Roach has returned to court in Clearwater, Florida, arguing that he agreed to give the money to the woman he divorced, not the man she has become.

His lawyer, John McGuire, said: "It's illegal for a man to marry a man and it should likewise be illegal for a man to pay alimony to a man."
