Baku, 27 March: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has left for Moscow to attend festivities to mark the 80th birthday of Mstislav Rostropovich, the world-famous cellist and conductor.

Aliyev will take part in a soiree in honour of Rostropovich in the Kremlin.

The Azerbaijani and Russian presidents are expected to meet during Aliyev's Moscow visit.
