Three Arrests in 2005 London Bombings

Current Headlines: British police have arrested three men suspected of taking part in the deadly 2005 bomb attacks on London's transit network.

CNN reported that two men were arrested as they prepared to catch a flight from Manchester, England, to Pakistan. The third man was arrested in Leeds.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism under the Terrorism Act 2000, said a statement from New Scotland Yard, CNN reported.

The July 7, 2005, bombings on three London trains and a bus killed 52 people, plus four bombers, and injured more than 700 others.
