Family Trio 'Raped and Killed Boy'

Current Headlines: A CONVICTED child molester and his parents face the death penalty after being accused of repeatedly raping a six-year-old boy and then choking him to death.

According to US court documents, Christopher Barrios pleaded for his life as registered sex offender George Edenfield, 32, his dad David, 58, assaulted him watched by mum Peggy, 57.

They are alleged to have confessed to abducting the boy as he played.

Prosecutor Stephen D Kelley will ask for the death penalty. He said: "This is one of the most horrific crimes that I have seen in 21 years."

Christopher's dad Mike said of the trio in Brunswick, Georgia: "They deserve the worst."

George Edenfield was given 10 years' probation in 1997 for molesting two boys. His dad David pleaded guilty in 1994 to incest.
