Uma and Lover Split for Good

ACTRESS Uma Thurman has split from her wealthy hotelier boyfriend after an on-and-off romance.

Only last week it was rumoured the 36-year-old Pulp Fiction star and Andre Balazs, 50, were planning a Caribbean wedding this summer.

Now a friend close to Thurman has told People magazine the couple's three-year relationship is over.

Last year, after Thurman appeared at the Oscars without Balazs, owner of trendy hotels in Los Angeles and New York, she revealed they had broken up.

At the time, the star said: "Unfortunately it is true, but we remain close friends."

But by last autumn they were back together and being photographed from Copenhagen to New York.

Thurman, who is currently shooting The Accidental Husband, has two children with actor Ethan Hawke, 36, her husband of six years until 2003.

She was previously married to British actor Gary Oldman, 48.
