Pupils Hit By Lack of Specialists

Current Headlines: TOO many pupils are being denied the chance to find out if they are good at physics because of a shortage of specialist teachers, according to research published today.

A study at the University of Buckingham called for colleges and schools to share physics lecturers to help ease the shortage. Teaching physics as a separate subject to pupils from the age of 13 would help more youngsters develop an interest, the studysaid.
