Current Headlines: Fayed sues Condon over Diana MOHAMED FAYED is taking legal action in France against a former Metropolitan Police commissioner. The Harrods owner alleges that Lord Condon deliberately withheld evidence from the French investigation into the 1997 death of Diana, Princess of Wales, and his son, Dodi. Former assistant commissioner Sir David Veness has also been accused.

Lord Condon said that he had cooperated fully with the investigation and added he was "surprised" by the legal action.

Poland told to drop antigay law POLAND has been warned by Human Rights Watch that a law banning "homosexual propaganda" in schools will promote discrimination. The group told prime minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski that the ban, whereby teachers can be sacked for promoting "homosexual culture", violates freedom of speech and denies pupils lifesaving information about Aids.

Car video games 'cause crashes' MEN who play car racing video games may be more likely to drive recklessly and get into accidents. A study at Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians University found that those who played the games most often were more likely to engage in aggressive driving which led to crashes.

Researchers said the games seemed to encourage risk-taking.
