Dodi's Dad Says Police Withheld Info

Current Headlines: The father of the man killed in the accident with Princess Diana claims a British police official of withholding evidence in France's probe into the incident.

Mohammed al-Fayed said former Metropolitan Police Commissioner Paul Condon deliberately withheld evidence from the French inquiry into the August 1997 deaths of the Princess of Wales and his son, Dodi, in a traffic tunnel in Paris, the BBC said.

Condon, however, said he fully cooperated with the Paris investigation.

Fayed maintained Condon knew shortly after her death Princess Diana was concerned about a conspiracy against her. The Harrods chief said this information should have been included in Condon's testimony in Paris.

Condon said the facts showed the princess died in a tragic accident, adding that he would review the evidence to see whether her death was regarded as suspicious.
