$370M Mega Million Win to Ga., N.J.

Current Headlines: Two Mega Million tickets sold in Georgia and New Jersey will share the $370 million jackpot drawn Tuesday night in New York's Times Square.

The 12-state lottery caused a ticket-buying frenzy, although a computer malfunction in Ohio locked out last-minute players in the final hour, the Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch reported.

Tickets for other state games were available, but attempts to purchase Mega Millions tickets before the 10:45 p.m. cut-off were met with error messages, the newspaper said.

Normally the draw is held in Atlanta, but when the jackpot hit $355 million on Monday, lottery officials agreed to stage the draw from a street-level studio in Manhattan.

The two winning tickets overcame odds of one in 176 million of matching all numbers.

The winning numbers were 16, 22, 29, 39, 42, and the Mega Ball was 20.
