Current Headlines: NEWCASTLE'S Discovery Museum is holding a series of free events to coincide with the city's science festival.On Saturday, at 10.30am and 1.30pm, there is a family science theatre show called Octopushy and on Monday, March 12, at 6pm, Gordon Masterton, past president of the Institute of Civil Engineers, will talk about engineering past and present.On Tuesday, March 13, between 7pm and 8.30pm, Professor Peter Barnham will give a talk called The Science of Taste and Flavour. On Thursday, March 15, at 7pm, The Great Mega Structures Debate will see experts discuss new building materials and their impact on the environment of the future. On Saturday, March 17, between 11am and 11.45am and from 1pm to 1.45pm, the museum will host an Explosive Family Science Show For details on any of the events, call 0191- 232-6789.
