Details of Astronaut Love Triangle Emerge

Current Headlines: Love notes and testimony from two women romantically involved with U.S. astronaut Bill Oefelein have been released by Florida lawyers prosecuting one of them.

The Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office released evidence Monday from the investigation into astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was charged last Friday with attempted kidnapping and burglary with assault, which could result in a life prison sentence, the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Tuesday.

Last month, Nowak drove from Houston to Orlando and allegedly confronted the rival for Oefelein's affection, Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman in the parking lot of the Orlando airport.

In interviews with the three, it emerged Oefelein considered his relationship with Nowak to be cooling as the relationship with Shipman was warming up, although Shipman said in her police interview she had doubts about how Oefelein felt about Nowak.

We went to a club in Houston, Shipman told police. And then we came home and we had a few drinks and we were laying in bed and he called me Lisa.

One e-mail message Shipman sent to Oefelein while he was aboard the shuttle Discovery in December said: First urge will be to rip your clothes off, the newspaper reported.
